Larry the Cat sta terrorizzando tutti a Downing Street, gatti e cani. L’ex gatto di David Cameron ha prima affilato i suoi artigli sul Palmerston, il gatto del Foreign Office. Poi non pago ha deciso di prendersela con Rex e Oscar, i due cani di Philip Hammond, il cancelliere dello Scacchiere. Larry non ha gradito l’intrusione dei due cani nel suo territorio e i tre hanno cominciato a lottare fra di loro. Chi ha vinto? Larry, ovviamente. Hammond ha spiegato di non essere riuscito a calmare il furente gatto e ha fatto l’unica cosa possibile in una tale situazione: ha dovuto lasciare i cani chiusi nell’appartamento del ministro, letteralmente a leccarsi le ferite.
Qui i due sono al sicuro dalle ire di Larry. Però Larry deve stare attento. Finché c’era David Cameron, anche lui era un impiegato del governo inglese, ma da quando Cameron ha lasciato il posto a Theresa May, anche il suo incarico è terminato, anche se gli è stato consentito di continuare a vivere a Downing Street. Solo che se non diventerà più tollerante, rischia che la premier Theresa May prenda provvedimenti. E a lei non piacciono molto i gatti.
